Art school first, then industrial design — I was taught to think in construction and systems, not in pictures. Three years inside Havas and Euro RSCG New Europe, where nothing shipped before it had survived a committee. Fifteen years independent since: brief, design, build, and the years after launch. Permanent engineering partners work under my direction, so one point of responsibility never means one pair of hands.

Discovery before direction, strategy before pixels. What the site has to achieve, who has to be convinced, and what gets cut — decided before anything is drawn, so the design argument is settled early instead of in review.
Sites that shipped, not decks about sites. Designed and built in days rather than weeks, because the same person does both and there is no handover to lose things in.
